The bill (Reg. No. 1332) suggests supplementing article 77 of the Fundamentals of Ukrainian legislation on healthcare with a provision under which medical and pharmaceutical employees are entitled to receive:

monthly longevity increment in percentage depending on their healthcare work experience in the following amount: more than 3 years – 10 per cent; more than 10 years – 20 per cent; and more than 20 years – 30 percent;

annual financial incentive in the amount of one official salary (wage rate) for conscious work and exemplary discharge of functions;

payment for health improvement in the amount of monthly official salary (wage rate) when granting annual leave, etc.  

Committee members believe that implementation of provisions of the bill will contribute to increasing financial security of personnel of state and communal healthcare centers, as well as the prestige of their work.
